Develop the confidence, knowledge and practical leadership skills to strengthen digital safeguarding, support colleagues and respond effectively to incidents.
Create Lasting Organisational Change
Embed digital safeguarding into safeguarding culture, policies, staff development, curriculum and parental engagement using practical frameworks and implementation tools.

Why I Created the DDiSL Programme
I experienced first-hand the responsibility that comes with safeguarding children and young people.
As the digital world evolved, it became clear that digital safeguarding had outgrown traditional online safety. Schools needed more than awareness and poorly put together e-safety webinars. They needed specialist leadership.
That’s why I created the UK’s first Designated Digital Safeguarding Lead (DDiSL) Training Programme. To provide comprehensive and specialised digital safeguarding training that builds confident, impactful leadership.

If you still have a question, feel free to reach out via email: amit@forworkingparents.com
Who is the DDiSL Training Programme For?
DDiSL has been created for senior leaders, Designated Safeguarding Leads (DSLs), deputy DSLs, pastoral leaders, online safety leads, trust safeguarding leads, SENDCOs and other professionals working with children and young people. It is also suitable for international school leaders and organisations looking to strengthen digital safeguarding leadership.
Do I need any prior digital safeguarding knowledge?
No. DDiSL has been designed for safeguarding and education professionals, not technology specialists. Whether you’re new to digital safeguarding or already have experience, the programme will help you build the confidence, knowledge and practical leadership skills needed to lead digital safeguarding effectively.
How is the DDiSL Training Programme different from other safeguarding or online safety training?
Most online safety training focuses on awareness or responding to incidents. DDiSL goes much further. It’s a specialist leadership programme designed to help organisations understand emerging digital risks, strengthen safeguarding practice and embed digital safeguarding across policies, culture, staff development and strategic leadership. You’ll leave with practical tools, templates and an implementation framework, not just information.
Is the DDiSL Training Programme suitable for international schools and organisations?
Absolutely. While the programme references UK safeguarding guidance, including Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE), the challenges facing children online are global. The leadership principles, practical resources and safeguarding strategies are relevant to schools and organisations worldwide.
How is the programme delivered?
For now, DDiSL is delivered live online, making it accessible wherever you’re based. Sessions are interactive, practical and designed to encourage discussion, reflection and real-world application, rather than simply listening to presentations.
Can our school, trust or organisation book multiple places or a private cohort?
Absolutely. Many schools, multi-academy trusts and organisations choose to train several colleagues together to build consistent digital safeguarding leadership across their teams. We also offer private cohorts tailored specifically for trusts and organisations. These can be delivered in-person or virtually. Please get in touch to discuss your requirements.
What happens after I register?
Once you’ve registered and chosen whether your place is self-funded or paid for by your school/organisation, you’ll receive a confirmation email outlining the next steps. We’ll stay in touch with reminders and relevant updates to ensure you’re fully prepared. Please note that places are only confirmed once payment is received.
Will I receive any accreditation or certificate?
Yes. Every participant who successfully completes the programme will receive a certificate of completion. We are also pursuing recognised CPD accreditation, and if this is secured before your cohort begins, your certificate will reflect this.
