Internal Storytelling

Empowering staff to tell their own story to create a more human workplace

Internal Storytelling

The power of sharing experiences is genuinely transformative, and it is often what is missed in modern workplaces where individuals tend to isolate themselves. Too many of us spend eight hours a day working next to someone we hardly know.

When we confide and share our personal stories, we create a more human, more understanding, and more inclusive workplace culture – ultimately opening the door for deeper connection, where people get to know each other beyond job titles and responsibilities and small talk exchanged during coffee breaks.

…we create a more human, more understanding, and more inclusive workplace culture…

Sharing our struggles and our negative feelings with another human being has been demonstrated to have profoundly therapeutic effects, including lowering stress, boosting the immune system, and alleviating physical and mental suffering. By supporting your employees in this endeavour, you can boost general team morale.

Our internal storytelling training programme is designed to help employees feel comfortable sharing their personal stories around parenting, taking into account how deeply personal and difficult to narrate they are in some instances.

Our internal storytelling training is delivered over 4-5 sessions, ensuring everyone has the time and support they need to structure and deliver their story effectively, enhancing their communication and public speaking skills.
